As I mentioned in my previous post, I intended to knead other colors of polymer clays and that’s what I did. Two colors are added to the seven other colors already made: cream and dark chocolate. In my next post you will see the eleven colors of polymer clay that I have produced. Thank you and see you soon.
Hello everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve published anything new. But my reasons are valid: I was working on my prototype doll (BDJ), but also, I was kneading other colors of polymer clay. Three colors were made: curry, ginger, and cinnamon. These colors represent the women of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, but also East Africa. I am happy with the results. I’m already thinking about making other colors in the coming weeks.
As in my previous post, I already had other colors in mind. I had a few extra polymer clays that were never used. But I had to get more in order to produce the other four colors I have in mind. Do not think I will be able to work with these clays anytime soon. Kneading polymer clay takes a lot of time and patience. I intend to knead only one per month. I should be okay by the next summer vacation.
A whole work of kneading polymer clay was finished during my Christmas holidays. I am happy with the results. Four colors were produced: Vanilla, milk chocolate, latte, and caramel. I am already thinking about making other colors by the next month.
Ten years have passed since I started creating dolls. Ten years that flew away at lightning speed. I tested and worked with different materials, including fabrics, porcelain, resin and of course polymer clay. I started with the figurative doll and then persevered with the creation of articulated dolls (BDJ). After several reflections, I intend to continue with these two types of dolls: static and articulated (BDJ). They will be original and unique fashion dolls.
Two separate silhouettes will be available, so two doll brands are on my work table. More information will come shortly. In the meantime, my last ten years of work will not be in vain, but those for a positive future. The doll gallery of the last ten years will be archived to make way for another gallery, the one for an online store. Stay tuned for what is next. Thank you to everyone for your interest in my work.
Hello! Here is my brief look at 2022 that is already coming to an end. When I think about it, ten years of creating, testing, modifying, and perfecting my doll techniques is glorifying. I would never think of being so patient. But, although I was not able to create a complete doll this year, I am happy with what I was able to achieve. My engineering tests are going well and that is what was most important…
The first prototype of this future doll is in the process of production and the first photos are expected to be released sometime next month (January 2023). Besides the creation of my prototype (doll). I loved drawing faces of pretty women from all walks of life. I intend to continue with drawing and improve my techniques. In fact, a lot of drawings are on my worktop. Drawings of women’s faces, but also drawings of design clothes and textiles. Be patient, because beautiful things are about to be born at AMG DOLL. Thank you all and spend a happy holiday season with your loved ones.
The work continues with the realization of other heads! The small white spots you see on the surface are a thin film of white dust. This pellicle dust occurs after sandblasting in soapy and distilled water. This white pellicle disappears once the first coat of paint is applied.
Hello to all art doll lovers in the world. Well, here are some heads I painted a few weeks ago. These are the same heads reproduced with my two silicone molds with some modifications. Currently, I am working on other heads that I will show you in a few days. Thank you all for your interest in my work.
Here are some other faces I have made! These new heads are just paint tests… More heads are about to be finished in a few days. Stay tuned for the rest and see you soon!
Hi everyone! As you can see, I have been working on other polymer clay mixes. This time, I wanted to finish with the caramel color which is a mixture of peach, brown and pink colors. The result is beautiful and I am more than satisfied with it.
