Here’s Pae!
Good evening to you all! Here she is and may I present to you Pae my first handmade BJD! I spent a whole afternoon taking photos. Speaking of photos, the photo session was exhausting! Due to a lack of natural light, the sun light, which in the end gave me a headache. Of course, several photos were simply removed. Regarding Pae, she stands 50 cm tall (20 inches), her eyes are handmade with Swarovski Crystal cabochons and her suit is hand painted. In the coming weeks, I’ll make several posts on the theme of love and since Valentine’s is almost upon us… this falls well don’t you think?
Bonsoir à tous! La vois-ci et je vous la présente Pae ma toute première BJD! J’ai passé tout un après-midi à prendre des photos. Parlant de photos, la session de photos fut épuisante! Le fait de manquer de lumière naturelle, la lumière du soleil, m’a donné à la fin un mal de tête. Évidement, plusieurs photos ont été tout simplement supprimées. En ce qui concerne de Pae, elle fait 50 cm de haut (20 pouces), ses yeux sont faits main avec de cabochons de Crystal Swarovski et son tailleur est peint à la main. Au cours de prochains semaines, je ferai plusieurs posts sur le thème de l’amour et puisque la St-Valentin est à nos portes…cela tombe bien vous ne trouvez pas?

After a first fitting…here’s the second!
After a short time of sleep, I finally finished this morning all corrections for this second fitting! Hope that the outfit with the real fabric will be OK…Otherwise, I will have no choice to make a third fitting if it’s doesn’t turned the way I want. I will stay positive and keep my fingers crossed!
Après une courte période de sommeil, j’ai pu enfin terminer ce matin, toutes les corrections pour ce deuxième essayage! Espérons que la tenue avec le véritable tissu sera correct… Sinon, je n’aurai pas le choix d’effectuer un troisième essayage si le tout ne fonctionne pas comme je le veux. Je reste positive et garde mes doigts croisés!
A first fitting…
This is what I’ve been doing all day! For a first fitting nothing was going to the way I wanted! With all my good efforts, the outfit was way too tight and did not hang well at all! I’m on my way to make a second fitting and all the adjustments on every pattern. One thing for sure, is that I will be sleeping late tonight!
C’est ce que je fais toute la journée! Pour un premier essayage, rien ne s’est passé de la façon dont je voulais! Malgré tous mes bons efforts, la tenue a était trop serrée et ne tombait pas bien du tout! Je suis déjà sur un deuxième essayage afin d’ajuster chaque patron. Une chose est sûre, c’est que je dormirai tard ce soir!
Wig making!
Good Sunday to you all! Two weeks ago, I made a wig, but unsatisfied by the results, I had to redo another one! I love wigs built on top of a tulle or mesh basis: the final look is elegant and natural. For this young lady, I opted for natural hair from Brazil. This type of hair is more expensive, but significantly higher in quality! I will come back to you with more pictures in a few days. Thank you all!
Bon dimanche à tous! Il y a deux semaines, j’avais commencé la fabrication d’une perruque, insatisfaite par le résultat, j’ai du recommencé! J’aime beaucoup les perruques construites sur base en tulle ou de mèche : l’aspect final est élégant et naturelle. Pour cette demoiselle, j’ai opté pour des cheveux naturels en provenance du Brésil. Ce type de cheveux est plus coûteux, mais nettement de qualité supérieure! Je vous reviendrai avec d’autres photos d’ici quelques jours. Merci à tous!
