Good morning everyone! I’m on my way to finish assembling my second doll. The process is a bit difficult and I had to change the elastics, they were too small for her size. And yes, because of this mistake, I had to start all over again! Also, I had to be careful with her painting… her surface is very sensitive and I was afraid of the damaged … But I finally managed to complete her!
Bonjour à tous! Je suis en route pour terminer l’assembler de ma seconde poupée. Le processus est un peu difficile et j’ai dû changer les élastiques, ils étaient petits pour sa taille. Et oui, à cause de cette erreur, j’ai dû tout recommencer! Aussi, j’ai dû être prudente avec sa peinture … sa surface très sensible et j’avais peur de l’abîmé … Mais j’ai finalement réussi à la compléter!
Good morning! Here are some pictures taken of my young lady! I’m happy with her, despite some flaws in her sculpting. I must confess that I do like taking pictures. I’m not the best, but It’s a diversifying activity. Don’t be surprised if a new video of her is released shortly. Before I leave you, I’d like to add, that I did a little update on my inspirational board. In fact, it ‘s constantly evolving. I combine a lot of materials and accessories, ones next to others. I take pictures and than I draw… and I draw again!
Bon matin! Voici quelques photos prises de ma demoiselle! J’en suis contente, malgré certains défauts en matière de sculptage. Je dois vous que j’aime prendre des photos. Je ne suis pas la meilleure, mais je trouve l’activité diversifiante. Ne soyez pas étonné si une vidéo voit le jour d’ici peu. Avant de vous quitter, j’aimerais ajouter que j’ai fait une mise à jour sur mon tableau d’inspiration. En fait, il est constamment en évolution. Je combine énormément des matières et des accessoires, quelques uns à côté d’autres. Je prends des photos et je dessine… et je dessine encore!
I’ve finally finished assembling my big doll! The process was a bit long; her size made the assembly method a little more complicated. We should not forget that she’s the first big doll that I’ve made after all … However, she will not be the last time one, but forget the idea in making one in porcelain: my electric kiln is way too small. I plan to make her wig soon. In this photo, my doll sits next to an American Model by Robert Tonner. Yes, although I have sold a good part of my collectible dolls, among them, I have kept four. Selon mes calculs, cette poupée devrait mesurer environ 56 cm (22 pouces) une fois complétée. Malgré la fatigue, je suis en mesure de la terminer. Yes! I am ready and preparing for the assembly of my two beauties and it was about time! I need to be careful to not damage the painting and especially with their faces. After years on making dolls, I’m always having a funny feeling when I see on my dolls coming alive. It’s an exciting one though and I just can’t wait to make the next one!
Ouais! Je suis prête et je me prépare pour l’assemblage de mes deux beautés et il était temps! Je dois faire attention à ne pas endommager la peinture et particulièrement celle sur leurs visages. Après des années à fabriquer des poupées, je suis toujours un drôle de sentiment lorsque je vois l’une d’elles prendre vie. Toutefois, c’est excitant et je suis impatiente pour prochaine!

These are the two heads that I’m working on and because of a nasty cold, I didn’t have the chance to paint their bodies. I intend to take two days off to heal myself. I really need it. I tried to work, but I couldn’t. However, I plan to rework my inspirational board and start drawing some styles. I’ll see you soon guys.
Hello! I’m continuing with the painting of my second lady’s painting. The work is pleasant, but just as laborious. The majority of my brushes are actually defective. And if I want to do a good job, I won’t have the choice to get more of them. I want to give myself two more days of work to finish it. Apart from my day job, it is only during the weekend that I will be able to continue with her.
Good morning! The painting of my two ladies has begun, they will finally come to life. At first, I panicked slightly, since it had been a while since I had used acrylic paint. Unlike porcelain paint, acrylic paint can be messy and what about the very unpleasant and chemical smell of the sealer. In addition, even the majority of my brushes were destroyed and many were good for the trash. But I kept them for other purposes. I think I’m going to book two days of work to do the painting: the dolls are big and I need a lot of natural light

Hi my friends! Lately, I’ve been wondering what name I could give to this first collection. I have too many ideas and I need to make up my mind! Indeed, I want to use poems and proverbs to accompany this collection. Ho god! You have no idea how excited I am! In fact, I believe the primary reason for this excitement and is due to the fact, that this is my very first real collection. To help me, I put together a notebook and an inspirational board. Every day I’ve pinned images, materials, accessories and objects of all kinds. Of course, the more I’ve experimented and advanced with my ideas, the more my inspirational board changes. These changes are due either to the wrong combination of materials or colors. I admit, it’s getting a little frustrating, but hey, it’s a choice I made. I leave you with some images of my inspirational ideas and I’ll see you again with what’s next.
Salut mes amis! Ces derniers temps, je me suis demandée quel nom je pourrais donner à cette première collection. Les idées sont trop nombreuses et il faut que je me décide! Effectivement, je souhaite employer des poèmes et des proverbes pour accompagner la collection. Holà là! Vous n’avez pas idée comme j’en suis excitée! En fait, je crois la raison première de cette excitation et reliée par le fait que c’est ma toute première vraie collection. Pour m’aider, j’ai monté un cahier et un tableau d’inspiration. Chaque jour, j’ai épinglé des images, des matières, des accessoires et des objets de toute sorte. Bien sûr, plus j’expérimente et j’avance avec mes idées, plus mon tableau d’inspiration change. Ces changements sont dû soit par les mauvaises combinaisons de matières ou de couleurs. J’avoue, que cela devient un peu frustrant, mais bon, c’est un choix que j’ai fait. Je vous laisse avec quelques images de mes idées d’inspirations et je vous revois avec la suite.
