The design of two dolls

I present to you my two dolls. You already know the first one, the other one will be unveiled soon. Their silhouettes are similar because they are half-sisters. I used the same technical drawing to model the second doll. Once completed, I sent the photos to a 3D artist who had already helped me with Miss Georgia. His work was ultra professional, and I am delighted with the result.

Je vous présente mes deux poupées. Vous connaissez déjà la première, l’autre sera dévoilée bientôt. Leurs silhouettes sont similaires car elles sont demi-sœurs. J’ai utilisé le même dessin technique pour modeler la seconde poupée. Une fois complétée, j’ai envoyé les photos à un artiste spécialisé en 3D qui m’avait déjà aidé pour Miss Georgia. Son travail était ultra professionnel et je suis ravie du résultat.

A second doll!

Surprise! Here is the design of a second doll, made in 2022 at the same time as Miss Georgia. Aside to focus on Miss Georgia, I resumed her remodeling last summer with her prototype as a reference. I wanted this doll to be more voluptuous, with curves and a feminine figure. More details will be released soon.

Surprise! Voici la conception d’une deuxième poupée, réalisée en 2022 en même temps que Miss Georgia. Mise de côté pour me concentrer sur Miss Georgia, j’ai repris son remodelage l’été dernier avec son prototype comme référence. Je voulais cette poupée plus voluptueuse, avec des rondeurs et une silhouette féminine. Plus de détails seront publiés bientôt.

Hi everyone. Miss Georgia‘s ongoing work is complete. Finally! It’s about time! I’ve been creating this prototype doll for almost two years. Her engineering gave me more than a headache, it made me anxious. On the other hand, thank God, I had the chance to call on the service of a talented artist specialized in 3D on the FIVERR website. His work was salutary and valuable. We worked using my technical drawings and the Miss Georgia prototype doll. This artist was able to make Miss Georgia wonderfully. Miss Georgia‘s face was done twice, but in the end, I chose to use one of the faces I’ve created in polymer clay. It was essential to me that Miss Georgia has an angelic face with exotic mixed features (a mix of Haitian and Quebecois-Canadian).

Bonjour tout le monde. Le travail en continue de Miss Georgia est terminé. Enfin! Il était temps! Cela fait près de deux ans que je crée cette poupée prototype. Son ingénierie m’a donnée plus qu’un mal de tête, cela me rendait anxieuse. Par contre, grâce à Dieu, j’ai eu la chance de faire appel au service d’un talentueux artiste spécialisé dans la 3D sur le site FIVERR. Son travail été salutaire et précieuse. Nous avons travaillé en utilisant mes dessins techniques et la poupée prototype Miss Georgia. Cet artiste a pu réaliser à merveille Miss Georgia. Le visage de Miss Georgia à été réalisé deux reprises, mais à la fin j’ai fait le choix d’utiliser l’une des faces que j’ai créées dans de la pâte de polymère. Il m’était primordial que Miss Georgia possède un visage angélique avec des traits exotiques mixtes (un mélange haïtien et québécois-canadien).

Hello! Here is my brief look at 2022 that is already coming to an end. When I think about it, ten years of creating, testing, modifying, and perfecting my doll techniques is glorifying. I would never think of being so patient. But, although I was not able to create a complete doll this year, I am happy with what I was able to achieve. My engineering tests are going well and that is what was most important…

The first prototype of this future doll is in the process of production and the first photos are expected to be released sometime next month (January 2023).  Besides the creation of my prototype (doll). I loved drawing faces of pretty women from all walks of life. I intend to continue with drawing and improve my techniques. In fact, a lot of drawings are on my worktop. Drawings of women’s faces, but also drawings of design clothes and textiles. Be patient, because beautiful things are about to be born at AMG DOLL. Allô! Voici mon bref aperçu de l’année 2022 qui tire déjà à sa fin. Lorsque j’y pense, dix ans à créer, tester, modifier et perfectionner mes techniques de poupées c’est glorifiant. Je ne penserais jamais d’être aussi patiente. Mais, bien que je n’aie pu créer une poupée complète cette année, je suis plutôt heureuse de ce que j’ai pu réaliser. Mes tests d’ingénieries vont de bon train et c’est ce qui était le plus important…

Le premier prototype de cette future poupée est en processus de production et les premières photos devraient être publiées au cours du mois prochain (janvier 2023).  Outre la création de mon prototype (poupée). J’ai aimé dessiner des visages de jolies femmes venant de tous les horizons. Je compte poursuivre avec le dessin et d’améliorer mes techniques. En fait, beaucoup de dessins sont sur mon plan de travail. Des dessins de visages de femmes, mais aussi des créations de vêtements et de textiles. Soyez patient, puisque de belles choses sont sur le point de naître chez AMG DOLL. Merci à tous et passez un joyeux temps des fêtes avec vos êtres chers.

… And the work continues and I was able to test the engineering of each of the parts of my doll. A more complicated thing than I thought. At one point, I found the situation frustrating since I spent days, not weeks testing this engineering… and it is not over! I even wondered if I was not on the wrong track. But hey, I think I am well on my way to the whole work and I will see in the coming weeks what happens to my future tests. Thank you for your interest in my work and see you soon.

…Et le travail se poursuit et j’ai pu tester l’ingénierie de chacune des parties de ma poupée. Une chose plus compliquée que je le pensais. Un moment donné, j’ai trouvé la situation frustrante puisque je passais des journées, non voir des semaines à tester cette ingénierie…et cela n’est pas fini! Je me suis même demandé si je ne faisais pas fausse route. Mais bon, je pense d’être bien partie pour l’ensemble de l’œuvre et je verrai d’ici les prochaines semaines se qui en est pour mes futures tests. Good morning! Here’s a brief look at the first doll I made. There is still a lot to do and I hope to finish her towards the end of May and the beginning of June. Thank you all for appreciating my work.

More work is waiting for me! / Beaucoup de travail m’attend!

Happy Sunday everyone! A busy week passed and I was more than satisfied and here I am with my doll. However, I don’t think I’ll be able to finish her for the up coming week: my schedule and night classes are taking up a lot of my time. But, don’t be worried, some photos of my work in progress will be published in the coming days.

Bon dimanche tout le monde! Une semaine chargée s’est écoulée et elle fut plus que satisfaisante et voici ou j’en suis rendue avec ma poupée. Toutefois, je ne crois pas que je pourrai la terminer pour la semaine qui s’en vient : mon emploi du temps et mes cours le soir prennent énormément de place. Mais, ne soyez pas inquiet, des photos de mon travail en progression seront publiées dans les prochains jours.
