Happy Saturday my dear friends! Here is Ava and finally wigged, dressed and ready for the big photoshoot which I will actually start today! Be prepared for the up coming weeks with great new posts and an update of this website. Honestly, I feel relieved to have finished her, between my day job and my important doll project that I have been working on for the past five months (which will be revealed in a month), my working doll space was getting messy! I will see you in my next post and take care!

Bon samedi mes chers amis! Voici Ava portant enfin sa perruque. Elle est habillée et prête pour sa grande séance de photos et qui commence aujourd’hui! Soyez prêt pour les semaines à venir pour de nouveaux postes et une mise à jour de ce site Web. Honnêtement, je me sens soulagée de l’avoir terminé, entre mon emploi du jour et mon important projet de poupées que travaille depuis les cinq derniers mois (qui sera dévoilé dans un mois), mon espace de travail devenait malpropre! Hello! This is what I’ve been up to lately! I was working on two different head sculpts. The first one has a much bigger head and looks more like a teenager and the other one like a young woman. I discovered over the years that I like, not only diversity, but variety also…I quickly get bored by making the same head sculpt. I love challenging myself and try new things…I plan to sand and paint them very soon. Stay in touch my friends for more details in a few days!

Salut ! Voilà sur quoi je travaillais dernièrement! Je travaillais sur deux différentes têtes. L’une, avec une tête plus grande, ressemble à une jeune adolescente, et l’autre, à une jeune femme. Au cours des années, j’ai découvert que j’aimais, non seulement la diversité, mais aussi la variété… je m’ennuie rapidement lorsque je me mes à sculpter le même type tête. J’aime me mettre au défi et d’essayer de nouvelles choses… J’ai l’intention de sabler et de peinturer ces deux têtes très bientôt. Here’s Pae!

Good evening to you all! Here she is and may I present to you Pae my first handmade BJD! I spent a whole afternoon taking photos. Speaking of photos, the photo session was exhausting! Due to a lack of natural light, the sun light, which in the end gave me a headache. Of course, several photos were simply removed. Regarding Pae, she stands 50 cm tall (20 inches), her eyes are handmade with Swarovski Crystal cabochons and her suit is hand painted.  In the coming weeks, I’ll make several posts on the theme of love and since Valentine’s is almost upon us… this falls well don’t you think?

Bonsoir à tous! La vois-ci et je vous la présente Pae ma toute première BJD! J’ai passé tout un après-midi à prendre des photos. Parlant de photos, la session de photos fut épuisante! Le fait de manquer de lumière naturelle, la lumière du soleil, m’a donné à la fin un mal de tête. Évidement, plusieurs photos ont été tout simplement supprimées. En ce qui concerne de Pae, elle fait 50 cm de haut (20 pouces), ses yeux sont faits main avec de cabochons de Crystal Swarovski et son tailleur est peint à la main.  Au cours de prochains semaines, je ferai plusieurs posts sur le thème de l’amour et puisque la St-Valentin est à nos portes…cela tombe bien vous ne trouvez pas?

Waiting to be dressed…

My lady is waiting to be dressed, but right now, I am attacking for a first fitting where I made many alterations! A second and perhaps even a third fitting will be required to offer a perfect garment that will gorgeously hang well with a nice silhouette. I’ll be back with more photos on my fittings. Ma demoiselle est en attente d’être habillée, mais en ce moment, je m’attaque à un premier essayage d’où j’effectue de nombreuses altérations! Un second et peut-être même, un troisième essayage, sera nécessaire pour offrir un vêtement impeccable avec une magnifique tombé et silhouette. Je vous reviendrai avec d’autres photos sur mes essayages. Bonne journée à tous!

I finished my doll!

Good afternoon! I found it difficult to stringed her all together: I have used a low quality and size of elastic. Believe me, having the right equipment makes all the difference and even if it does cost more! Do not be afraid to invest in terms of quality, It makes all de difference period! I count to make her wig between Christmas and the new year and show to you later a few pictures. In the meantime, I will not post something during the holydays: I’ll be with my family to celebrate the holiday season! I wish you all, a Merry Christmas full of love!

Bon après-midi! J’ai terminé ma poupée! J’ai trouvé difficile de l’assembler faute d’avoir utilisé un élastique de piètre qualité et de grosseur. Croyez-moi, avoir le bon matériel fait toute la différence et même si il cela doit coûter plus cher! Il ne faut pas avoir peur d’investir en termes de qualité, cela fait toute la différence point finale! Je compte de fabriquer sa perruque entre les jours des fêtes de Noël et le jour de l’an et vous montrez les photos par la suite. D’ici-là, je ne publierai rien entre temps : je serai avec ma famille pour célébrer les temps des fêtes! Je vous souhaite à tous et chacun, un joyeux Noël avec plein d’amour!
