Third doll almost done / La troisième poupée presque terminée

Hello! This is the third doll I’ve been working on lately. The work was slow. It was out of the question for me to hurry things. As you can see from this photo, the wig’s work is almost complete. I’ve been hesitant with the hair color. I took my time. Finally, I opted for black rather than auburn or ash blonde colors.

Allô! Voici la troisième poupée que je travaillais dernièrement. Le travail fut lent. Il était hors question pour moi de me presser. Comme vous pouvez voir sur cette photo, l’élaboration de la perruque est presque terminée. J’ai longtemps hésité sur la couleur des cheveux. Finalement, j’ai opté pour le noir plutôt que pour les couleurs auburn ou blond cendré.

The first two dolls almost finish and a third one on the way! / Deux poupées terminées et une troisième est en route!

Good morning to all! It’s been almost a week since I published anything. I’m sorry about that. The reason is simple: I was finishing the outfits of three dolls at the same time. I worked in stages with several breaks. So, the work was long, laborious, but also enjoyable. I’m thinking of working on two more dolls, and then start the photo shoot. See you soon in my next post.

Bon matin à tous! Cela fait près d’une semaine que je n’ai rien publié. J’en suis Désolée. La raison est simple : je terminais les accoutrements de trois poupées en même temps. J’ai travaillé par étape avec plusieurs pauses. Donc, le travail a été long, laborieux, mais aussi agréable. Je songe travailler sur deux autres poupées, puis par la suite commencer la séance photo. À bientôt et on se voit à la prochaine publication.

Yippee! I have finished the wigs of my two ladies! Choosing hair color is an activity that I greatly appreciate. They finally have a personality and have come to life. Better yet, I can finally give them a name worthy of their faces: their names are, Estelle and Olivia. What do think of their name?

Youpi! J’ai terminé les perruques de mes deux demoiselles! Le choix de la couleur des cheveux une activité que j’apprécie énormément. Les poupées ont enfin une personnalité et prennent vie. Mieux encore, je peux finalement leur donner un nom digne de leur visage : leur nom, Estelle et Olivia. Que pensez-vous de leur nom mes amis?

Hello my friends! I’m working slowly, but I’m sure moving! I try to do more, but I am unable to go faster, my schedule and day job prevents me. In the evenings, during the week, I have other activities and the weekend is my only free time. Next step, making wigs!

Hello mes amis! J’avance lentement, mais surement ! J’essaie d’aller plus, mais je suis dans l’impossibilité d’aller plus vite, mon emploi du temps m’en empêche. Le soir, durant la semaine, j’ai d’autres activités et la fin de semaine est mon seul moment libre. Prochaine étape, la fabrication des perruques!

Happy Saturday my dear friends! Here is Ava and finally wigged, dressed and ready for the big photoshoot which I will actually start today! Be prepared for the up coming weeks with great new posts and an update of this website. Honestly, I feel relieved to have finished her, between my day job and my important doll project that I have been working on for the past five months (which will be revealed in a month), my working doll space was getting messy! I will see you in my next post and take care!

Bon samedi mes chers amis! Voici Ava portant enfin sa perruque. Elle est habillée et prête pour sa grande séance de photos et qui commence aujourd’hui! Soyez prêt pour les semaines à venir pour de nouveaux postes et une mise à jour de ce site Web. Honnêtement, je me sens soulagée de l’avoir terminé, entre mon emploi du jour et mon important projet de poupées que travaille depuis les cinq derniers mois (qui sera dévoilé dans un mois), mon espace de travail devenait malpropre! Je vous revoir dans mon prochain post et prenez soins de vous!

Good evening! Ava’s wig is almost done, but a few changes are needed to be done. First, I had to change the tulle lace and then, I had to mix a variety of hair colors. In her case, I chose a mix of auburn and honey blonde color. I think that she will look good…anyways I am almost done! I will see you soon with the final results!

Bonsoir! La perruque de Ava est presque terminée, mais quelques modifications sont nécessaires pour la compléter. Tout d’abord, j’ai dû changer la tulle de dentelle et puis, j’ai dû mélanger une variété de couleurs de cheveux. Dans son cas, j’ai choisi un mélange de couleur blond auburn et blond miel. Je pense qu’elle sera jolie… en tout cas j’en ai presque fini ! Je vous verrai bientôt avec les résultats finaux!

Happy Saturday to you all and I am back from my Holidays! I hope you rested and took time with your loved ones!  For this first post of 2018, I want to write something positive, even though 2017 was a hard one, especially the last three months…But my sweet Ava, my current doll, was a joy to make, she brought some light in my creative mood and life! And now, she is waiting to be wigged! Her wigged cap is in the making for the third time! I have created her wig over and over and over again! I was so unsatisfied with it and especially with the glue that I used: some glues are made for fabrics, some for paper and others are all-purpose adhesives and it was up to me to test them all. You will see the results in two days…Thank you, my dolly friends, for being loyal followers and I am grateful for it!

Bon samedi à vous tous et je suis de retour de mes vacances! J’espère que vous vous est reposé et avez pris le temps d’être avec vos proches!  Pour ce premier post de 2018, je veux écrire quelque chose de positif, même si 2017 a été difficile, en particulier les trois derniers mois… Mais ma douce Ava, ma poupée actuelle, a été un bonheur à réaliser, elle a apporté de la lumière dans ma bulle créative et dans ma vie ! Et maintenant, elle attend d’avoir sa perruque! Son bonnet perruque est en cours de réalisation pour une troisième fois! Sa perruque, je l’ai produite de maintes et maintes fois! J’étais tellement insatisfaite avec cette perruque et surtout avec la colle que j’utilisais: certaines colles sont faites pour les tissus, d’autres pour le papier et d’autres sont des adhésifs tout usage et c’était à moi de les tester tous. Vous verrez les résultats dans deux jours… Merci, mes amis qui sont fans de poupées et d’être de loyaux suiveurs et je vous remercie tous!

Good evening everyone! I have finally finished Nia’s wig and I used human hair to make it. It looks pretty nice and am ready to style it. Now with her hair, she finally comes to life, don’t you think?

Bonsoir tout le monde! J’ai finalement terminé la perruque de Nia et j’ai utilisé des cheveux humains. Le tout est jolie et je suis prête stylisée le tout. Maintenant avec ses cheveux, elle prend finalement vie, vous ne trouvez pas?

Good evening! The wigs are over! I intend to arrange and comb them to give them a little more style. I used human hair for the two wigs, next time, I’ll try mohair. I’ll come back to you with more photos tomorrow. Thank you all and have a good evening!

Bonsoir! Les perruques sont terminées! Je compte les arrangées et le peignées pour leur donner un peu plus de style.
