Cleaning heads is a laborious and delicate process. It’s a good thing that I’m well equipped! Indeed, without my wooden modelling tool, my knives and my brushes to sculpt, the work would be a bit more complicated…long and less accurate. I also noticed that I needed a magnifying lamp glass, especially to refine the details. But honestly, I prefer to work outside, since I avoid any porcelain particles on my face and also, my studio stays clean.

Good morning everyone! I finally started with porcelain! Speaking of porcelain, this noble, millennial and luxurious material must be handled with care! The slightest wrong moves and all flaws will appear (like dust, air bubble and blackheads). If there is one thing that I’ve learned, it has to do with these moves and flaws! Yet, I did not panic, since I knew that the porcelain piece can be retouched after it has been released from its mold. At his stage, this requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. You will see the result in the next post.
