Hello my beautiful people! Spring is upon us and all of the madness from the past year, is close to an end. We need to hold on and stay the most positive has we can. Speaking of spring, which is my favorite season, I’m about to experience a busy one. In fact, I intend to focus on some serious projects that I will disclose in the months ahead. I ask you to be patient and stay connected. For now, the next posts on this blog will be devoted to proverbs and poems full of hope

Wild Blossoms 2021 Collection / Collection 2021 Fleurs Sauvages

Bonjour mes belles personnes! Le printemps est à nos portes et toute la folie de l’année écoulée est proche de sa fin. Nous devons tenir bon et rester le plus positif que nous le pouvions. En parlant du printemps, qui est ma saison ma saison préférée, je m’apprête à en vivre une chargée. En fait, je compte m’attarder sur quelques sérieux projets que je divulguerai dans les mois avenir. Je vous demande d’être patient et de rester connecter. Pour le moment, les prochains publications sur ce blog seront consacrés sur des proverbes et des poèmes pleins d’espoir et d’amour. The photo shoot will soon begin and here is the name of the collection: Wild Blossoms. And yes! The floral print inspired me for the name of this collection. PS: The collection is divided into two parts. What you’ll see for the next four months will be part one. I’ll come back with the second part, but one thing at a time my friends. Take care.

La séance photo va bientôt débuter et voici le nom de la collection : Fleurs sauvage. Eh oui! L’imprimé fleuri m’a inspiré pour le nom de cette collection. PS : La collection est divisée en deux parties. Ce que vous verrez pour les quatre prochains mois en est la première partie. Je reviendrai avec la deuxième partie, mais une chose à la fois mes amis. Ready for the big photo shoot

Good morning! The three ladies are finished and they are ready for the big photo shoot. I’m going to give myself two days of photo shoot. Then, two more days for photo selections and video montages. Thank you all for your interest in my work and I’ll see you again in my next post. Take care.

Third doll almost done / La troisième poupée presque terminée

Hello! This is the third doll I’ve been working on lately. The work was slow. It was out of the question for me to hurry things. As you can see from this photo, the wig’s work is almost complete. I’ve been hesitant with the hair color. I took my time. Finally, I opted for black rather than auburn or ash blonde colors.

Allô! Voici la troisième poupée que je travaillais dernièrement. Le travail fut lent. Il était hors question pour moi de me presser. Comme vous pouvez voir sur cette photo, l’élaboration de la perruque est presque terminée. J’ai longtemps hésité sur la couleur des cheveux. Finalement, j’ai opté pour le noir plutôt que pour les couleurs auburn ou blond cendré.

Two dolls and one more…

The first two dolls almost finish and a third one on the way! / Deux poupées terminées et une troisième est en route!

Good morning to all! It’s been almost a week since I published anything. I’m sorry about that. The reason is simple: I was finishing the outfits of three dolls at the same time. I worked in stages with several breaks. So, the work was long, laborious, but also enjoyable. I’m thinking of working on two more dolls, and then start the photo shoot. See you soon in my next post.

Bon matin à tous! Cela fait près d’une semaine que je n’ai rien publié. J’en suis Désolée. La raison est simple : je terminais les accoutrements de trois poupées en même temps. J’ai travaillé par étape avec plusieurs pauses. Donc, le travail a été long, laborieux, mais aussi agréable. Je songe travailler sur deux autres poupées, puis par la suite commencer la séance photo. À bientôt et on se voit à la prochaine publication.

Painting work continues

Good morning everyone! After one week break, the painting work continued. This time, I was able to continue with the second batch of dolls. I worked during the night. It’s something rare in my case! Usually, I prefer working during the day. I enjoy natural light better, simply because the end result is often more satisfying.

Bon matin tout le monde! Après une semaine de pause, le travail de peinture s’est poursuivi. Cette fois-ci, j’ai pu continuer avec la seconde batch de poupées. J’ai travaillé le soir. C’est quelque chose de rare dans mon cas! Habituellement, je préfère travailler le jour. J’aime profiter de la lumière naturelle, car le résultat final est souvent plus satisfaisant.

Three BDJ art dolls

Hello my friends! Here are the first three BDJ art dolls. I’ve finally completed them! All that’s missing are the hands to assemble. As you can see, the shades are different: the first one is apricot, the second is an orchid-coloured and the third is a powder pink. Despite some engineering flaws, I’m happy with the results. I plan to rework on some parts of the prototype doll, in order to perfect the engineering (the joints). Thank you everyone for your interest and we’ll see you in my next post!

Photo 1 Resin doll and master polymer clay / porcelain doll

Bonjour mes amis! Voici les trois premières poupées BDJ d’art que j’ai enfin complété! Il ne manque que les mains à assembler. Comme vous pouvez le constater, les teintes sont différentes : la première est de couleur abricot, la seconde de couleur orchidée et la troisième est d’un rose poudré. Malgré certains défauts d’ingénierie, je suis contente des résultats. Je compte retravailler sur certaines parties de la poupée prototype, afin de parfaire l’ingénierie (les articulations). Painting has finally started

Hi everyone! The painting has finally started early this morning. The resin’s surface works well, just like polymer clay. Let me explain: each layer of acrylic paint must be applied one step a time, just like watercolor painting. However, acrylic paint is mixed with a retardator and distilled water. At this stage, the paint is translucent. I must work fast, since acrylic paint dries fast! To remedy the situation, I had to do some tests on some default resin pieces. Just like a child, I had so much fun and I’ve never felt so great. Thank you and see you soon.

Bonjour tout le monde! La peinture à enfin début tôt cet avant-midi. La surface de la résine se travaille tout comme la pâte de polymère. Je m’explique : chaque couche de peinture d’acrylique s’applique étape par étape comme la peinture d’aquarelle. Toutefois, la peinture d’acrylique est mélangée avec un retardateur et de l’eau distillée. À cette étape, la peinture est translucide. Il me fallait travailler vite, puisque la peinture d’acrylique sèche vite! Pour remédier à la situation, j’ai dû faire quelques tests sur quelques pièces de résine en défaut. Je me suis amusée comme un enfant et cela m’a fait un grand bien. Merci et à bientôt.
