Hello! You have noticed in my last post, several firing heads, this was intended! I wanted to test different brands and colors offered by various companies specializing in fine and high-quality porcelain slip. So far, I’m dazzled by the quality and beauty offered by porcelain. In fact, it’s all just wonderful! Although it is a low firing (greenware), colors stand out slightly better and the touch is so sweet! I simply can’t wait for the next firing, known as the bisque firing!

Good morning everyone! I finally started with porcelain! Speaking of porcelain, this noble, millennial and luxurious material must be handled with care! The slightest wrong moves and all flaws will appear (like dust, air bubble and blackheads). If there is one thing that I’ve learned, it has to do with these moves and flaws! Yet, I did not panic, since I knew that the porcelain piece can be retouched after it has been released from its mold. At his stage, this requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. You will see the result in the next post.
