
Hello, here are all of the demoulded porcelain pieces once dried…and they are heavy! They should dry for at least 5 days before handling, editing and subsequently, sanding them slightly! So far, I’ve only worked on porcelain heads. This great exercise enabled me to familiarize myself with each dry porcelain piece.
Voici, toutes les pièces démoulées en porcelaine une fois sèches et elles sont lourdes! Elles devront séchées pendant au moins 5 jours avant de les manipuler, les retoucher et par la suite, les sabler légèrement! Jusqu’à présent, je n’ai travaillé que sur des têtes. Ce bel exercice m’a permis de me familiariser avec chaque pièce en porcelaine sèche.






Good morning everyone! I finally started with porcelain! Speaking of porcelain, this noble, millennial and luxurious material must be handled with care! The slightest wrong moves and all flaws will appear (like dust, air bubble and blackheads). If there is one thing that I’ve learned, it has to do with these moves and flaws! Yet, I did not panic, since I knew that the porcelain piece can be retouched after it has been released from its mold. At his stage, this requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. You will see the result in the next post.
