I’m continuing with my little Miss Georgia faces, but this time, with the medium-light shades. The paint application was quite easy starting with the powder coating and then the shading. I tried to apply the dry pastels first and then added a few more coats, but I had to stop. I noticed that I hated pastel particles, despite wearing a mask that I wore on my face. So, I had to start again with the acrylic paint that I love. And for the first time, I used an airbrush to do the shading. I kept my mask on for my safety. Using makeup sponge does a remarkable job too. As I often say, to each his own technique. The eyes were modeled with the head, but only the irises are made of gel varnish and then painted with acrylic paint. The colors of these little faces are caramel, mocha, mimosa and hazelnut.

Je poursuis avec mes petits visages de Miss Georgia, mais cette fois-ci, avec les teintes moyennement claires. L’application de peinture a été assez facile par commencer par le poudrage et par la suite les ombrages. J’ai essayé en premier d’appliquer les pastels secs puis par la suite ajouter quelques couches de plus, mais j’ai dû cesser. J’ai remarqué que j’avais horreur des particules de pastel et cela, malgré le port d’un masque que je portais sur mon visage. Donc, j’ai dû recommencer avec la peinture d’acrylique que j’affectionne. Et pour la première fois, j’ai employé un aérographe pour faire les ombrages. J’ai gardé mon masque pour ma sécurité. L’utilisation d’éponger pour maquillage fait un travail remarquable aussi. Comme que je dis souvent, à chacun sa technique. Les yeux ont été modelé avec la tête, mais seules les iris sont faites de gel vernis, puis peint de peinture d’acrylique. Les couleurs de ses ces petits visages sont caramel, moka, mimosa et noisette.
