Since the beginning of my practice, the technique of applying paint to my dolls’ faces has undergone a significant evolution over the years. Initially, I used exclusively acrylic paint, which I particularly appreciate for its translucency, requiring the application of several coats to obtain the desired result. Acrylic paint also has the advantage of being pleasant to handle but requires speed of execution due to its short drying time. Gradually, I enriched my methods by integrating other techniques such as watercolor and pastel chalk. Over the next three posts, I will present an overview of the different make-ups done for Miss Georgia and Georgianna M. I invite you to discover these creations and follow the next news.

Depuis le début de ma pratique, la technique d’application de la peinture sur le visage de mes poupées a connu une évolution significative au fil des années. Initialement, j’utilisais exclusivement la peinture acrylique, que j’apprécie particulièrement pour sa translucidité, nécessitant l’application de plusieurs couches afin d’obtenir le résultat escompté. La peinture acrylique présente en outre l’avantage d’être agréable à manipuler, mais exige rapidité d’exécution en raison de son temps de séchage court. Progressivement, j’ai enrichi mes méthodes en intégrant d’autres techniques telles que l’aquarelle et la craie de pastel. Au cours des trois prochaines publications, je présenterai un aperçu des différents maquillages réalisés pour Miss Georgia et Georgianna M. Cleaning and verification

Good morning, everyone. I started the inspection and cleaning of several parts (feet and hands) of Georgianna M’s production. This is equivalent to thirty pairs of feet and sixty pairs of hands. This work took me a whole morning with several breaks.

Bon matin à tous. J’ai commencé l’inspection et le nettoyage de plusieurs pièces (pieds et mains) de la production de Georgianna M. Ce qui équivaux à trente paires de pieds et soixante paires de mains. Ce travail m’a pris toute une matinée avec plusieurs pauses.

Hello everyone! As I did previously with Miss Georgia, I took some pictures of Georgianna M. The photos taken don’t do justice to the doll’s three pretty colors. But hey, other photos will be published without the Geogianna M page shortly.

Good morning, everyone! I present to you Georgianna M on the three shades of latte (normal cameo), maple (beige) and mocha (taupe). I took this photo in broad daylight, so the color accuracy is authentic. As you can see, this opaque polyurethane resin is reminiscent of porcelain, even though the two are very different materials. The touch of this resin is pleasant with this soft feeling under the fingers.

Bon matin à tous! Je vous présente Georgianna M sur les trois teintes lattée (caméo normal), érable (beige) et moka (taupe). J’ai pris cette photo en plein jour, donc l’exactitude des couleurs est assez authentique. Comme vous pouvez le constater cette résine de polyuréthane opaque fait penser à de la porcelaine, même si les deux sont des matériaux bien différents. Le touché de cette résine est agréable avec cette sensation de douceur sous les doigts.

Surprise everyone! As you can see, Georgianna M’s production has arrived! To be more precise, this production arrived before Christmas to my great surprise. You have no idea the excitement that took hold of me. Youthful excitement. Twenty dolls were produced in three colors (latte, maple and mocha). In the next post, you’ll see these colors on Georgianna M. Stay tuned. 😊

Surprise tout le monde! Comme vous le voyez, la production de Georgianna M est arrivée! Pour être plus précise, cette production est arrivée avant noël à mon grand étonnement. Vous n’avez pas idée l’excitation qui s’est prise en moi. Une excitation juvénile. Vingt poupées ont été produite dans trois couleurs (lattée, érable et moka). Good morning to you all! During the holiday season, I treated myself to the Jem box set and the Holograms. Created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the famous doll, this box is undoubtedly one of my best purchases of 2025. It contains three DVDs with 65 episodes, offering a total of 26 hours of viewing, including interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. My memories with this doll go back to its beginnings in 1985. I remember very well the release of the TV series in French: I was 10 years old at the time, in 1986. Apart from Sandy, the British doll, Jem certainly occupies the place of my second favorite doll. I have always appreciated her beauty, her story, her branding, as well as the fact that she embodies an ambitious and generous young woman. Like its charismatic rivals, the Misfits, she also has her own flaws. It must be recognized that Jerrica is the real central character: everything starts with her, and Jem is ultimately only her alter ego. In summary, I treated myself to three full days of viewing. Bon matin à vous tous ! Pendant la période des fêtes, je me suis fait plaisir en m’offrant le coffret de Jem et les Holograms. Ce coffret, créé pour célébrer les 40 ans de la célèbre poupée, est sans doute l’un de mes meilleurs achats de 2025. Il contient trois DVD avec 65 épisodes, offrant un total de 26 heures de visionnage, y compris les entrevues et les coulisses. Mes souvenirs avec cette poupée remontent à ses débuts en 1985. Je me rappelle très bien la sortie de la série télé en version française : j’avais alors 10 ans, en 1986. Mis à part Sandy, la poupée britannique, Jem occupe assurément la place de ma deuxième poupée préférée. J’ai toujours apprécié sa beauté, son histoire, son image de marque, ainsi que le fait qu’elle incarne une jeune femme ambitieuse et généreuse. Comme ses rivales charismatiques, les Mitfits, elle a aussi ses défauts. Il faut reconnaître que Jerrica est le véritable personnage central : tout commence avec elle, et Jem n’est finalement que son alter ego. The arrival of 2026 marks the creation of new calendars. As I do each year, I celebrate my past projects by making a calendar, which helps me reflect on my accomplishments and motivates me for future endeavors.😊

Cette nouvelle 2026 commence avec l’élaboration de nouveaux calendriers. Comme à chaque nouvelle année, j’aime bien commémorer mes projets de l’année achevée avec un calendrier. Cela me permet de visualiser le travail exécuté et de me donner l’énergie pour les autres à venir. 😊

Wishing everyone a wonderful start to 2026! I hope your holiday season was enjoyable and that you spent meaningful time both with loved ones and on self-care. As the new year begins, I’ve decided to refresh my various social media accounts, starting with Instagram (@amgdoll25). This update is necessary because the current fuchsia pink and white theme doesn’t coordinate with my doll packaging or stationery. Moving forward, I’ll be using cream, ivory, and ecru as the main colors, and adding accents of charcoal, slate, silver, gold, and rose gold. These shades are contemporary and minimalist. I’ve also introduced an urban rustic vibe, featuring a brutalist-style wallpaper. Expect these changes to roll out over the next few weeks. Thanks, and I’ll see you soon.

Je souhaite à tous un merveilleux début de 2026! J’espère que votre période des Fêtes a été agréable et que vous avez passé du temps significatif, autant avec vos proches et à prendre soin de vous. Alors que la nouvelle année commence, j’ai décidé de rafraîchir mes différents comptes de médias sociaux, en commençant par Instagram (@amgdoll25). Cette mise à jour est nécessaire parce que le thème actuel rose fuchsia et blanc ne s’accorde pas avec l’emballage ou la papeterie de mes poupées. À l’avenir, j’utiliserai ces couleurs principales, crème, ivoire et écru, et j’ajouterai des accents de fusain, ardoise, argent, or et or rose. Ces teintes sont contemporaines et minimalistes. J’ai aussi introduit une ambiance rustique urbaine, avec un papier peint de style brutaliste. Attendez-vous à ce que ces changements se déploient au cours des prochaines semaines. Merci et à bientôt.
