Good morning! I decided to cast two more dolls in two different colors. The good news is these colors are gorgeous. The first is like a peanut colour and the second one is like a golden caramel. I’m very excited to paint them! But first, I’ll have to drill the holes, sand and clean each channel. Tell me, what do you think of each color?
I’m finally done! After four long days of work, I was able, thanks to heaven, to complete through these painful processes that are drilling and cleaning. As many of you may know these are the steps that I don’t appreciate. Some doll pieces are not perfect! But the most important thing, is that the worst is behind me and Itβs to for me to move on to the other stage, that is painting!
Hello world! I would have liked to start this post differently, but thereβre days we would like to forget! Today it was! I couldn’t manage to drill all the holes inside of each doll pieces! It’s frustrating! In the end, I began to get discouraged. My right hand and wrist were hurting me. But the worst part was my electric drill: I had to recharge it every time for at least two hours. So, it was impossible for me to finish this long hard work. What else can I say? Stay positive? Well, I have to, because once this part is over, I will be released! Thank you all for your support and interest in my work and I’ll see you again soon!
Phew! I spent a whole weekend making three resin dolls. The work was long, laborious and very messy! And not to mention the foul and toxic smell! I had to wear a mask with cartridges throughout the process. In addition to cleaning and sanding, I will have to pierce the inside of some doll pieces, including the legs, arms, bust and chest. I give myself at least three days of work. Honestly, that’s the part I hate the most. But this step is crucial for the next step which is painting. Thank you and I βll see you very soon!
Good Friday! I’m ready for the resin casting stage! A long day awaits me and I am very excited. Stay tuned, in a few days, I will show you the first results!Γ
Good morning all and Happy New Year 2021 (if it’s still not yet done). I hope you’ve rested, had a good time and importantly, a safe one. As for me, besides having a fairly quiet holiday time, I was able to continue with my doll activities. Indeed, I was able to test some resin color. Frankly, despite the damage it can do, I really had fun. I was able to avoid losses by mixing some colors with others. See the results and tell me what you think of them. Thank you and see you soon!
