Hi all! You may have seen the new box for Georgianna in the last post: a minimalist, elegant design, with black writing on a cream background and a logo like that of Miss Georgia. Although both share a passion for vintage and all things ethnic, Georgianna stands out for her thoughtful, romantic and classic side, while Miss Georgia is more curious, intellectual and eclectic.
It was during the annual preparations for charity balls for a future craft school, that Georgianna became passionate about her grandmother Françoise’s beauty routine, focused on skincare. With a classic Caribbean beauty, but European in style, according to Françoise, a natural and sophisticated make-up is based above all on well-maintained skin. This cosmopolitan vision of makeup, light and refined, profoundly influences Georgianna’s career.
After graduating from St-Laurent College in Montreal, one of the best aesthetic beauty and wellness institutions recognized in Canada thanks to its unparalleled classical training system, Georgianna continued her studies at the Edith Serei Academy, another well-established reference of beauty schools in Montreal. Then, she spent more than a decade perfecting her knowledge at Lise Watier Cosmetics.
Over time, her professional vision will be more enlightened, and her primary goal will be to offer a flawless face. And to achieve it, with the help of a former classmate Sophie, a dermatologist with ten years of experience, she created Georgianna M cosmetics. The letter M for the word makeup. Two moisturizers will be put on the market as first products. Georgianna M cosmetics’ mission is to offer and promote quality products designed for all skin types for a natural and incredible appearance.
Hello! Here’s a taste of Georgianna’s measurements alongside other 1:6 scale dolls. Before we continue, it should be noted that Georgianna’s height is 12” (30.48 cm), so like the Barbie doll (11”/28 cm), she is in the same 1:6 scale. But what is the size of a 1:6 scale model?
In the context of miniatures, scale refers to the proportional size of the miniature in relation to its actual counterpart. For example, a 1:6 scale figure means that every inch of the figure corresponds to 6 inches in real life. For every modeler, it is important to understand the differences between the scale ratios. Therefore, scale model sizes are size comparison ratios indicating how much a model has scaled down from the original. For example, the scale of 1:24 means that the model is 1/24th the size of the original object. The larger the second digit, the smaller the size of the model.
Hello art doll lovers! I present you a preview of the second prototype of Georgianna. Its silhouette is distinguished by its finesse, and the fluidity of the joints allows for a wide variety of poses. This model is being produced in China, and it will be small. Only 20 units will be produced in three colors: latte, maple and mocha. Just like Miss Georgia, I plan to take several photos on different colored backgrounds and have a little fun.Stay tuned for the rest!
The second prototype of Georgianna is ready to be sent to China from where twenty units will be produced in three shades: latte, maple and mocha. If I go by the latest production of Miss Georgia, this production should be completed by March 2026
How Georgianna came to be? Very simple, her design was made at the same time as Miss Georgia. The technical drawings used for Miss Georgia were a crucial reference in bringing this doll to life. To sculpt Georgianna, I went through all my past doll creations and analyzed those that came close to the aesthetics I wanted. However, the one that made me the proudest is one of my dolls created in 2021. This handmade mixed-race doll made of resin was produced in two separate collections: Rustic Blossoms and Wild Blossoms.
Subsequently, several sketches were made inspired by several images of women on Shutterstock. Then, I redid all the technical drawings, traced the silhouette and added all the hinged joints. Over a period of three months, a prototype was made with Epoxy clays and polymer clays in the winter of 2022, from which engineering tests were carried out beforehand. Once satisfied and the corrections made to my original technical drawings, I called on the know-how and professionalism of an artist specialized in 3D modeling. The same artist behind Miss Georgia.
In short, after several months of hard work, the first 3D prototype of Georgianna M will see the light of day in the summer of 2024. This prototype was then sent into production in China during the month of June 2025. This journey full of challenges, frustrations, doubts, learning, patience, perseverance and excitement was beneficial. All this work is a reminder of why I embarked on this journey in the first place. My dream wasn’t just to create a doll; It was about embodying the fusion of art, fashion and imagination.
Life is dynamic, ever changing, and fluid, so too must our sense of style move and evolve. Every one of us should constantly be honing our style skills and adjusting them to changing audience.
