Hello! In my last publication, I announced that my next doll would be made from resin and am excited by the idea. Not to mention that I was going to use an old porcelain prototype. However, in an earlier post, I had clearly mentioned that certain aspects of my porcelain BDJ dolls annoyed me. Among those aspects were the question about their thinness. Frankly, I realize that I had to modify the porcelain prototype. I’m going to start with the torso, then change the knees. I wish that this next doll could be smaller. Salut à tous! C’est partie pour les modifications. J’ai commencé par modeler un tout nouveau torse en pâte de polymère. J’aurai pu le réaliser en pâte à papier, mais au lieu de dépenser à nouveau des sous, j’ai utilisé un restant de pâte que je possédais déjà. Ce qui était sage de ma part. Je dois confesser que la surface sera moins lisse comparativement à la porcelaine. Ce qui signifie que beaucoup de boulot m’attend. Mais, je ne m’en fais pas, j’ai l’habitude avec le travail ardu. D’ici quelques jours, je vous reviendrai avec l’évolution de mon modelage. Merci et à la prochaine.
