Good evening! I start my creation with painting to bring Miss Georgia to life. It’s incredible, but, despite my attempts with dry pastels, I couldn’t resist the urge to paint Miss Georgia with acrylic paint. It’s my material of choice. I feel comfortable with this medium because I know how to use it. I appreciate the end result it provides. A natural look that is the result of the application of several thin and translucent layers of paint, helped by the use of small make-up sponges. If I can offer a little advice to any artist, it’s this: if you appreciate an art material and it adds value to your work, keep using it.”

Bonsoir! J’entame ma création avec la peinture pour donner vie à Miss Georgia. C’est incroyable, mais, malgré mes essais avec les pastels secs, je n’ai pas pu résister à l’envie de peindre Miss Georgia avec de la peinture acrylique. C’est mon matériau de prédilection. Je me sens à l’aise avec ce médium, car je sais comment l’utiliser. J’apprécie le résultat final qu’il procure. Un rendu naturel qui est le fruit de l’application de plusieurs couches fines et translucides de peinture, aidé par l’utilisation de petites éponges à maquillage. Si je peux offrir un petit conseil à tout artiste, c’est ceci : si vous appréciez un matériau d’art et qu’il apporte une valeur ajoutée à votre œuvre, continuez à l’utiliser.”
