Faith is a grand cathedral, with divinely pictured windows standing without, you can see no glory, nor can imagine any, but standing within every ray of light reveals a harmony of unspeakable splendors.
– Nathaniel Hawthorne

Good evening! Here is a small design overview of my Adele’s fashion outfit. As you can see, my approach on the design process, is to have a good overview of what I want to create and put myself in a deep creative mood!
Hey everybody! The wait is now over and Adele’s design is now is now final! I did not want to complicate the design process, since, as you know, Adele’s neck and shoulders are articulated. However, she still is a figurative and fragile. Also, let’s not forget that she is tall 18 inches (45,6 cm) and for those who have been following me understand what I mean : the taller the doll is, the more fragile she is!Many may ask why I do not make smaller dolls, the reason is simple: I prefer taller dolls to create beautiful designs and since, I started collecting dolls in 2008, they were all tall and I wasn’t interested in smaller dolls. Period! More images will be posted tomorrow! Thank you!
Good evening! Here is my third design sketch for my sweet doll Adele! I don’t know what you think about it, but this outfit is my favorite one so far! From the moment, I learned how to make tailored suits in fashion school, 20 years ago, I knew that complex clothing were my favorite ones to make! But, I can’t make this nice design for Adele: she’s too fragile and I truly don’t want to break her! And, yes that means I have to go back and design something different and safer…Anyways, I will make this tailored suit for a future doll for sure!
Hello! On this post, I will explain what is the Miss Georgia doll line is about…
Miss Georgia can be ANY women. In reality she’s a woman, a giver, a lover of life, she wants to make a difference and be a leader. She is curious, resourceful, determined and follows her own instinct because her heart tells her so. She takes pleasure in simple things in life, like eating a great meal, take a language course, being barefoot in the sand or feeling the rain on her face. She’s in peace and respectful with herself and with others and always try to be the best person she can be. She’s passionate of learning something new and reading a fantastic book and evolving as a human being.
She’s conscience of the world she’s leaves in, but wants to make it better and fantasizes about it in her own way and this starts with fashion. When it comes to style, she’s not afraid to experiment and try new things, like wearing a fitted tropical print jacket with sexy black pants, or mixing something traditional with something contemporary. She is an individual who also loves effortless, colorful, whimsical prints and bold pieces with intricate details for the free spirit and well traveled woman that she is. In other words, she thinks outside of the box and is not afraid to NOT follow trends for the sake of it.
Her style is definitely a personal one!
For final words, Miss Georgia is the doll, where any women can connect with as a decorative item. Making dolls is one thing, but I have a global vision of what I want to create with them: a doll line with a soul!
Happy Sunday! I hope you take time to rest or to be be with your love ones. In my case, I’m trying to finish a new doll, speaking of dolls, at home, with my loves ones, I call them my “mademoiselles” in french it means ladies. I hope to finish this “lady” in two weeks…but tonight, I’m leaving you with a few pictures on the making of the Miss Georgia doll brand logo. As I said on yesterday’s post, this logo is a logical continuity of my doll studio (AMG Doll) logo. I hope you like it and I see you soon!

“Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower, and draws all good things towards you. Allow your love to nourish yourself as well as others. Do not strain after the needs of life. It is sufficient to be quietly alert and aware of them. In this way of life proceeds more naturally and effortlessly. Life is here to enjoy!”

Happiness is to…
“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”
Hello! Many people in my entourage keep asking me why am I making dolls and for what for and especially at my age, I’m 39 years old by the way. There is a few good reasons why and they are especially related to both my artistic and fashion expressions, but I will get to this with more details one day. But for now, the only thing I can deeply say is that making dolls makes simply…happy. We are all seeking for happiness in our lives and that is why in the next two weeks, I will post a few words for happiness. Along with these words of happiness, more photos of my young gypsy, Glòria, will be featured.
“The secret to happiness is happiness itself. Wherever we are, anytime, we have the capacity to enjoy the sunshine. The presence of each other and the wonder of our breathing.”
