Porcelain is delicate!

All four dolls are now all bisque fired

Good morning everyone! As I have mentioned many times, working with porcelain is delicate, laborious and time-consuming. As soon as the parts are removed, it is necessary to wait at least a week, so that the pieces of liquid clay dry. Then, there’s the delicate task of cleaning the dry clay pieces. Indeed, at this stage, these dry clay pieces are as light and fragile as an egg shell. The slightest mishandling can damage the porcelain piece and worse, break it.  But once the soft firing (greenware) is done, things get in place and my stress eases quietly. I can calmly work the pieces again with assurance
