Hello! Tonight, I’m continuing with Haulani, but after she’s painted. Speaking of painting, all my dolls are painted with professional acrylic paints. Most of the time, I use Liquitex, Golden or Desseres paints. I also use Fiber Castell and Derwent watercolor pencils for small detail work. For me, it’s important to experiment first with new materials before making any final decisions! Meanwhile, I try not to be exclusive to any brand till I find the perfect one that suit my aesthetic. Of course, like most art supplies, professional acrylic paints and watercolor pencils can be expensive. I try to buy according to my budget and sometimes what is on sale and than experiment.
